Oh, twenty. I’ve been delaying this pensive post-birthday blog entry for well over a week now, mentally debating whether I was excited or melancholy to be a whole two decades old, but I guess a little time is all it takes to get used to anything. It’s only now that I’ve come to terms with no longer being a teenager and the little perks and annoyances that come with entering a “new stage” in life.
It’s funny because I feel like I finally look my age, but at the same time feel like I have yet to fully reach my quota for wild antics. I mean to say, I may have been acting like a little adult for the majority of my youth, but it wasn’t until I considered myself an official adult that I want to have all the fun. Perhaps I am one of the few who experience a late youth…or am I reverse aging experience-wise? Whatever. I’m totally ready to Benjamin Button the hell out of the rest of my life.
This is what I wore to my birthday brunch with the fam, by the way. I realize it’s basically a fancier reincarnation of my previous outfit post BUT it’s my birthday and I’ll outfit repeat if I want to!
Wearing a Banana Republic coat, TNA shirt, Topshop jeans, Nine West sandals, Warehouse bag, and gifted and vintage jewelry.
